The family sent for her but she couldn't get into the US in 1924 due to the McCurran Act when they cut off all immigration. So she had a choice of Cuba or Mexico. So thank g-d she chose Mexico. In 1924 they arrived in Mexico through Vera Cruz and they traveled to Mexico City and that's where they stayed. She was married to her husband Manasha in Europe. They came here with two children, two daughters Adda and Rebecca. When Jechivid became pregnant with Sora she came to the US, somehow or another she got across the border by not telling them her exact date when she was due for delivery. So she had Sora here at Mt. Sinai Hospital. When the baby was two or three months old she took her back to Mexico. She had two more children after that. When they came to Mexico they had Moises (Moshe), then Sarah and then another baby named Fanny we used to call her Feigele and they still live in Mexico.
